Go to Na Hang by bus

You have 2 options as follows:

Taking a bus from Hanoi to Na Hang: Currently, Bao Yen bus company operates the My Dinh - Na Hang route, with a frequency of 2 trips/day.

Take a bus to Tuyen Quang (Bao Yen, Dung Dung, Son Hung, Hong Thinh,...) and from here take intra-province buses to Na Hang town. You can also rent a motorbike to go from Tuyen Quang to Na Hang in the direction of Highway 2. At the intersection with TL190, turn right to Chiem Hoa, go straight and you will reach Na Hang.

Travel to Na Hang by motorbike or private car

From Hanoi, you can go towards Vinh Yen straight along Highway 2 to reach Tuyen Quang city. From here, you continue to follow the motorbike rental route on the dike to Na Hang.

Note: For those traveling by private car, you can take the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, turn off at IC9 and then turn back to Highway 2 to continue to Na Hang

Where is Na Hang lake?

Located in the centre of Na Hang District, Na Hang Lake is surrounded by mountains and ancient temples. Near the lake is Pac Ta Mountain, the highest mountain in the district. It looks like an elephant stooping down near an alcohol jar that is reflected in the green lake. At the foot of the mountain stands an old temple that is dedicated to a concubine of General Tran Nhat Duat from the 13th century. The temple is famous for its beautiful scenery and sacredness and is a must-see destination for visitors.
